City of Abbotsford Arts and Culture Roundtable
This design depicts connectedness, cultural diversity and how the collaboration between community, arts and culture can bring everyone together by sharing each other's stories through art and cultural traditions. The Cedar branch in the center represents reconciliation, healing and honoring the Stó:lō people who have lived on this land since time immemorial. We must remember to respect the culture, the language, the lands and keep the traditions alive through learning, sharing and building together.
This design was created and used with my own custom font for an upcoming clothing company as their design brand. It was first designed by hand on sketch paper and then recreated in digital form for the purpose of screen printing on different materials.
