This exhibition showcases artworks that highlight the significance of water through a diverse range of canvas pieces. These works address various issues, including climate change, pollution, land overdevelopment, and the effects on our watersheds, communities, species, and habitats that depend on water. Additionally, the exhibition emphasizes how we can implement positive changes for the benefit of future generations.
Each artwork is meticulously hand-painted using acrylic and watercolour on primed wrapped canvases. These pieces portray abstract formlines of animals and their surrounding environment, blending traditional Salish art forms with a contemporary perspective.
