2024 stɑl'əw̓ Pow Wow MMIWG2S Flag Design
This design was created for the 2024 stɑl'əw̓ Pow Wow Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2 Spirit (MMIWG2S) Flag.This Flag will be used for all the Grand Entries at this and future stɑl'əw̓ Pow Wows. I wanted to create a design that symbolizes the MMIWG2S in a way that is respectful to the loved ones of those who were lost. This is an important symbol of honouring those who are no longer in this world but will be dancing with us in spirit. To honour the families who need healing and community to carry them in times of need and representing a hand to hold for those who seek help and guidance.
