Starting Tuesday, May 19th I will be in the Totest Aleng Learning House every week until the end of August. During this time, I will be planning and implementing 4 public engagement sessions which includes an end of residency art exhibition. The canvases I create will the final installation of the water series I have been working on since 2024 and will focus on our Salish sea, its habitat including shellfish and marine life along the BC Coast and the impacts to First Nation communities along the coastline and bay areas who are not able to harvest traditional foods on the tidelands which they have done since time immemorial because of contamination, overharvest, land development and invasive species.
